Sheila King
Artist Statement For the past five years my chosen painting medium has been egg tempera on panel because of its crispness and luminosity.For the past year or so, I have also done many drawings in colored pencils, graphite, ink and felt-tipped pen. The drawings tend to be more geometric and abstract, whereas the paintings thus far have been landscapes or figurative. I am now incorporating abstract and geometric elements into the paintings, as well.

Graduated; Colby Junior College AA 1962
Mass. College of Art BFA 1974
Lived in Boston area for most of life, moving to the Monadnock region in 1998.
Shown extensively throughout New England, and other venues. Work is represented in many private collections.
