Mary Lord
Artist Statement Mary Lord works in the tradition of Boston Museum School artists, and has won acclaim for her innovative color photography. Her palette is composed of the flowers, leaves and elements of the natural environment - from her gardens, woodlands, and travels. Her artistic experience includes life work in painting, pastels, stoneware ceramics and graphic design. Her work brings a new aesthetic to the concept of botanical art.Mary Lord's artwork is in numerous private collections and has been exhibited widely. In upcoming months it can be found at Copley Society; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, December Sale; Redmond Gallery; Vermont Artisan Designs; and at her studio by appointment.
