Jacquelyn O'Hare
Artist Statement The history, culture, craftsmanship, and process of basket weaving intrigue me. From a Penobscott hex weave to a Nantucket, baskets hold information, ideas, and aspirations. My goal is not to weave the same basket twice but to always search for new ways to change the form slightly or not so slightly. For me, weaving is a process of learning which never ends.
